AI Policy

The editorial board regulates the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in accordance with the recommendations of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and leading scientific publishers.

For authors

• Authors are required to declare the use of AI tools in the cover letter: for manuscript preparation, image creation, data collection and analysis.
• Generative AI tools can only be used as an auxiliary tool for searching for literature and analytical materials (with subsequent verification of sources), assisting in translation or editing the text, to improve readability and correct grammatical errors — under the supervision of the author.
• AI cannot be indicated as an author or co-author of the article: all submitted materials must be fully edited, reviewed, and approved by human co-authors who bear full responsibility for the content.
• Concealing the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is considered a violation of the principles of academic integrity.
• Authors are fully responsible for the authenticity and originality of materials prepared using AI.

For reviewers

• Reviewers should express their own expert opinion, not relying on the conclusions of AI.
• Uploading manuscripts to publicly available AI tools is prohibited — this violates the confidentiality of authors.
• The decision on acceptance/rejection is based on the scientific quality of the research, not on the fact of the use of AI.

For editors

• All submitted manuscripts and correspondence with authors/reviewers are confidential and cannot be uploaded to generative AI services.
• Editors ensure that the disclosure of AI in manuscripts is verified and, if necessary, correct the wording in the cover letter about the use of AI before publication.

Confidentiality

All participants in the publishing process adhere to confidentiality standards when working with scientific materials, regardless of the use of AI technologies.
